Removal A Mole Without Scarring

Moles appear throughout our entire lives without an apparent reason other than genetic predisposition and sun exposure. Although often inherited and totally harmless, moles can be removed either on request for cosmetic purposes or because they have aggravated, grown or changed in color. The most basic type of intervention is excision and even if the degree of safety is incredibly high, there is one major inconvenience to it: it can cause scarring. Healing usually goes well, the scars are just temporary and complete recovery is possible if all precautions are taken.

First of all, the formation of a mole removal scar depends on the size and depth of the mole as well as on the dermatological procedure used to treat the problem. Deep cuts with stitches will usually leave scars behind, as compared to other superficial interventions. Laser treatments can also cause quite a lot of scarring because of the direct action of the light on the cellular structure that performs the evaporation of the tissues. Probably the intervention most likely to leave your skin free of any mole removal scar is shaving. Used only for certain types of moles, shaving consists of the skin cutting together with the portion that protrudes.

The only problem with shaving is that some mole cells remain behind and proliferate again, leading to regrowth. Therefore, only after close medical investigation will an expert be able to tell what kind of treatment suits a patient’s condition. Plus, the analysis and diagnosis make it possible to anticipate the mole removal scar size so that the person who needs the intervention should be aware of the healing process and the consequences. This peculiar observation should represent a warning to people who want to operate moles for cosmetic purposes only.

There are ways to reduce a mole removal scar and they usually consist of further surgery or the use of natural remedies meant to stimulate tissue regrowth right after the wound has completely healed. The anti-scar treatment or prevention ought to start as early as possible after surgery. Moreover, another way to reduce to reduce the risk of a mole removal scar becoming permanent is by keeping infections away. The application of topical antibiotics is a must until the full healing of the formal mole.

The trend for plastic surgery could be over

Michael Jackson is reportedly planning to revamp his image with even more cosmetic surgery in preparation for his big comeback this summer. The popstar, who is due to start a run of 50 dates at London’s O2 Arena in July, has reportedly been in consultation with a number of surgeons and cosmetologists to work out his latest new look.

It’s not as if Michael Jackson hasn’t had enough surgery already, but it’s not really surprising to hear that he’s planning to go under the knife again. It’s one of the things he’s most famous for after all. It would seem, though, that for the time being at least he will be in the minority. The worrying trend towards a nip/tuck culture where people can just pop in for a nose job or breast enlargement procedure and no one bats an eyelid, appears to be coming to an end.

It could just be the recession meaning people don’t have the money to spare for expensive procedures, or it could be that people are starting to listen to the ever increasing list of horror stories related to cosmetic surgery. Whatever the cause, the fact remains that the number of people who went under the knife in the final three months of 2008 had dropped by at least 25 per cent.

This might be bad news for cosmetic surgeons but it’s great news for the rest of the beauty industry. Without the choice of just getting your body issues ‘fixed’ by going under the knife, people who want to retain their youthful looks are having to look elsewhere for an alternative. And the only alternative is to always take proper care of yourself and look after your body and your skin.

Specialist cosmetic companies like NV Perricone and Elemis produce a huge selection of creams and moisturisers specifically designed to target problem areas and deal with common problems. These ‘cosmeceuticals’ combine cosmetic with pharmaceutical benefits. If you prefer something a bit more home-grown Aesop use botanical ingredients in their huge range of skincare products. Treating your skin properly and maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine will mean that you can always look your best, without running the risk of ending up looking like Jacko.

Will Michael Jackson Get Further Plastic Surgery For His UK Concerts

Michael Jackson is probably one of the most famous figures in the world, his career is decades old and his fans are in the millions. The stars pop music is probably still regarded as some of the best in the industry, with his Thriller album being the most successful of all time.

But for his greatest fans, there was some negative news as the star announced that he would be performing his last concert on British soil. After fans waited for hours upon hours Michael Jackson then cam to announce that his shows in the summer would be the last curtain call and that he would never perform on British soil again.

He then insisted that he would only be performing songs that hes fans want to hear. What did surprise me though was at the press conference I was expecting to see a frail figure of MJ, but instead a star with lots of energy came out and who in fact looked very healthy. So my question is, did Michael Jackson have more Cosmetic Surgery for his upcoming press conference?

If we take a look at this image we will notice two sure signs of his surgery, the first being that the lower part of his face looked very sharp and sleek, like he just had his chin done. The second  was that his face did not seem to be as pale as the paparazzi take shots of him, this again could be due down to Plastic surgery or a huge ton of make up.

But whatever the star has done or been accused of in the past, I think people should just let it go and enjoy the last time a great singer will perform.

Cosmetic surgery is on the increase

It may sounds really crazy but fashion victims will today go to any lengths in search for the perfect body. Women are now getting plastic surgery to keep up with the current trend of having giant earrings. Women are getting injections of synthetic filler Restylane to make their earlobes tougher for the 6in monsters seen on practically every catwalk on TV.
Boob jobs are the most common form of plastic surgery with over 6497 operations in the UK alone last year. That’s a whopping 275% rise on the 2361 operations in 2002 last year alone. However more women are willing to pay sky high sums of money to go for more extreme forms of nips and tucks in the current economic crisis. From toe-tucks to armpit Botox, there is really no limit to the imagination when it comes to quick fixes from cosmetic surgery. However it is important to think very carefully when considering plastic surgery. Dr. Mark Henley who is a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills said that no surgery or procedure is 100% risk free, You have to get the timing right. Unless the circumstances are extremely exceptional avoid surgery if you have recently experienced major life events such as moving house, changing job, losing a loved one, the break-up of a relationship or the arrival of children.
The only assistance if any that you will need will be for whether you actually require cosmetic surgery or not. You shouldn’t let anyone talk you into plastic surgery if you don’t want it because at the end of the day there is no real need to. Cosmetic surgery is for exceptional circumstances and in general I would not agree for cosmetic surgery to be used for any old reason. Altering your body in that kind of way is somewhat un-natural and I am not exactly a fan of it.
